Mark Kozelek’s most recent album with Sun Kil Moon, ‘April,’ was released through his label, Caldo Verde Records, on April 1st, 2008. Also, a new edition of Nights of Passed Over, a book collection of his lyrics originally published in a limited edition in Portugal in 2002, is currently available and includes a new foreword from Mark and a 12-song bonus CD.
Mark’s cover of ‘Send in the Clowns’ can be found on the new 57-song compilation Musicians for Minneapolis, a benefit for victims of the Minneapolis Bridge Collapse. His
music has also been recently licensed to The O.C. and The Trials of Darryl Hunt soundtrack. He scored the original music for the film ‘Farewell Bender,’ which will be
released summer 2008. In 2005, Mark started Caldo Verde Records. Releases include the 2-CD Live set ‘Little Drummer Boy Live’ and Alan Sparhawk of Low’s self-titled Retribution Gospel Choir debut album, for which Mark worked as producer.
Mark has recorded six studio albums with Red House Painters, four solo records, and three with Sun Kil Moon.
